Bangkok - Must Do's

Boat Noodles at Dong Kuey Toy Rua by Victory Monument- (and other street food and markets for that matter) for directions on this follow my expert idol Mark Wiens at migrationology.com He's got an easy list.

Silom Cooking Class - USD 30 or 1000baht for a half day of hands on cooking lessons and a quick market trip. Try Thai food the freshest you can get conveniently. You make all the pastes/sauces/milk mixes from scratch. 6 meals while other cooking places only let you make four. Gung was our instructor. And the finale was the mango in coconut dipped sticky rice.

Wat Arun Stairs - Not for the faint of heart mind or inner ear. One of the temples across the river which is suppose to be gorgeous in the sunset has stairs you can climb laden at a very steep angle each step get further and steeper apart from the one before. Going up is heart racing but the view of the way down is merciless. However it can be done and the fear immediately dissipates as soon as you land on your first step down. Take it one step at a time and don't look at anything but that step as oppose to the long way down. Hold on to the rail. To get to/from Wat Arun I personally prefer the private boat that can get you there in a few minutes that's 100baht cause it goes direct as oppose to the regular barge that would be making stop after stop and is about a 45min trip from Central Pier.

(NO PICTURE... BECAUSE IT WAS ALL A BLUR)

Tigers! - If I only had one day in Thailand I would spend it with these guys. take the VIP Morning tour at the Tiger Temple. don't use up good time and money in the afternoon tour with the 200 other tourists. Book a Tour with Tong and have her just show you a good easy time getting there around and back. Be prepared to walk, cuddle, play, bathe, hand feed tigers of different ages and most importantly follow proper Tiger etiquette (bending over to tie your shoes is an easy one to miss but can have a tiger on your back in one, two..)
Extras:

Never tried Maggie Choo's but a local told Me it was an awesome lounge

for efficiency read up on www.migrationology.com

For ease professionalism and savings book with www.tourwithtong.com

Very Important: Read up on Trip Advisor, Travel Guru for quick Dos and Don'ts by priority, have lots of patience and practice being aggressive when needed, draw your inner Thai in you and always travel half tourist and half local.

Nashville - A Unique Dining Format Resto

On the way in contemplate staying the night and look up some local spots with live music or even major music events that you could liven your evening with.

... We didn't really have the luxury of another day however we decided to pass by

Monell's Dining and Catering

...here is what the hostess said as we walked in

"Welcome to Monell's, we seat family style so all of you (referring to the 12 people waiting for a table) can sit here..."

"We have three rules, and you need to respect them, 1st pass the food to the left after you take your share, 2nd no cell phones at the table not in your hand not on the table, if you need to take a call take it outside of the restaurant, 3rd dig in and call me momma! If you need anything yell momma!"

Then bowl after bowl of sweet southern goodness began rolling in. It felt so good NOT to have my phone, and the fact that no one else wanted to bring out their phone, enjoy the food with all their attention and get to know new people from all over. Nothing like bonding over food.

Atlanta - Naples Pizza In America?!

Driving in - Listen to the Main Title Theme of the Walking Dead and then drop by

817 Cherokee Place Atlanta GA
This is Rick Grimes's house featured in the TV show and not too far from the main highway... While your fascinating your nerd mind to that work your GPS towards ...

Pizza Antico Napoletana
The best pizza place I've been to by far. Community dining in their warehouse like kitchen Italian music and customers getting their groove on inspite tens of fluorescent bulbs, people say the pizza here is closest to Naples Pizza... I don't need to say much this place speaks for itself.

Epcot's World Showcase

Norway - Try the Krigla Bakeri Og Kafe and get their Viking Coffee and School Bread (Great breakfast) ... And my guy friend wants me to say the Norwegian gals are pretty cute.

Mexico - Do the tequila flight! Four shots of different kinds of tequila

United Kingdom - Catch the improv show on their streets, grab beer inside rose and crown and maybe fish and chips

Japan - reserve lunch at teppan edo, 4.5 rating on yelp. It's a 3/5 on my scale as far as food goes but service and show is a 4.5/5... The chef cracks jokes while cooking infront of you and they're far from cheesy. (Ie. poking the chicken on the oven and telling us it's Big Bird) awesome!

Check the Pearls they harvest before your very eyes in their gift shop. A pearl from a Pearl farm picked just for you for only $17 bucks

Italy - have a Canoli and the Champagne flight at their Cellar... And then bat your eyelashes at the bartender with the Italian accent (cause he's from Italy) same goes with the next location...

France - Spend on perfume, wine, cheese, and the pastry shop! A must do the pastry shop!

Pace yourself!

Indianapolis - The Deli, The Beer, The Underground Resto

Goose The Market

Meats, cheese, organic grocery, sandwiches, coffee, and a cellar downstairs for very chill dining on tapas. Ie. Cheese plates drizzled with sweet jam etc...

It's Your one stop shop, with local beer (Pogue's Run Porter  by Flat 12 Brewery "like cigars and chocolate") which is worth lugging from the Midwest down to sunny FL for friends

You may want to Get their two best selling sandwiches; the Batali and the Goose, One for now one for later.

Grab from their fresh deli some sopresatta or smoked fish and homemade red block cheese among many. have them choose for you if you can't make up your mind.

it's a sandwich shop on level and a restaurant in their cellar downstairs. Very quiet cozy and cultural! Reminds me of a cellar-resto in Buenos Aires.

Chicago - Must Do's

Shana's Chicago Winter List: My favorite experiences in Chicago

DOWNTOWN:

Hancock Top Floor for view - only touristy thing in the list but view worth it. Go enjoy view for a few minutes and order one drink cause it's rather pricey.

Catch a Sarah Marie Young Show - a musician who makes an impression check dates and venues sarahmarieyoung.com

Purple Pig - order bone marrow, pig ears, and beets. go on a weekday cause weekend wait sometimes can go up to three hours and they don't take reservations

Kris Kindle Market at Daley Plaza - it's only my favorite city event of the year. My friend Tina runs it on the ground and she is on top of her game!

Untitled - Every night they have a different theme and show (ie. Unbridled burlesque show). Great party place

Lake Front Path Sledding Hill: Bring cardboard and bundle up. Parking pricey in the area or cab it.

OLD TOWN

Second City Thursday Nights - free improv at 10pm every Thursday at the main stage. Many great actors and comedians pass through Second City.

LINCOLN PARK

Next Door Cafe - take a class or just get some online errands done in this very condusive space... The only thing distracting about it is how awesome the concept of the place is.

Batter and Berries - #1 in this entire list (hot sauce, chicken, waffle flight)

LITTLE ITALY

Davanti on Taylor St - ricotta cheese and the pizza with the mushrooms and the olives are orgasmic

LOGAN SQUARE
.
Kuma's Corner - try their beers, and their burgers, and Mac and cheese

Wasabi - order any Ramen and make sure you add on the Aburi Kakuni. No take outs at this place, because yeah it's that good.

WRIGLEY

Tango sur - the date place! A legit Argentinian restaurant almost as good as Buenos Aires itself.

UPTOWN

Green Mill - cash cover but tremendously talented musicians if you're not into jazz or folk you might reconsider the lack of interest you had AFTER watching a show here

BUCKTOWN

Arts and Spirits - eat drink and paint! take your friends and BYOB

EDGEWATER

Metropolis Cafe - top 20 coffee shops in the world and this is one of them. try whatever special seasonal coffee they have.
